PUPPY GROUP CLASSES

Bringing a new puppy home is an incredible experience—they fill your life with love, laughter, and endless energy. But let's be real: they can also push your patience to the limit! Whether it’s discovering that your plush carpet is their preferred potty spot, dealing with excited jumping every time someone walks in, or the challenges of taking them for a calm, controlled walk—it’s not always easy.
 

But don’t worry. Our puppy training classes are here to help you turn these frustrations into proud moments! Over the course of five weeks, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to guide your puppy into better habits. 

What will we get up to during the classes?

  • Teaching a settle, which will be super useful when you're out in public settings, such as a cafe

  • How to recall your dog back to you

  • Socialisation

  • Walking nicely on the lead, without them pulling you

  •  How to focus on you and not get distracted in their surroundings

  • Preparing for for vet /grooming visits - cooperative care

​

  • Impulse control - learn how to better control their impulses

  • Polite "hellos" without jumping up!

  • Puppy scent work introduction

The courses: The course runs for 5 weeks every Friday at 6pm and lasts for 45 minutes. 

Location: Eagle's Nest Community Centre, Gedling Road, Arnold, NG5 6NY.  

Parking: Parking is avialable next to the venue, alternatively there is off road parking

FAQ

What happens if I can't make one of the sessions?
We can catch you up on what you have missed and send over any relevant handout guides for that particular session. No refunds are issued for missed sessions. 

Is the environment safe and secure?
Asbolutely, the doors will be closed inside the venue and there is a back garden area which is secured. All dogs will remain on their leads. This will be a controlled environment for the safety of humans and dogs.

Can I bring other people with me?
We encourage family members to attend the class, however we ask children under the age of 10 do not attend.

Are these group classes suitable for my reactive/nervous dog?
Group classes environments are not suitable for reactive or anxious dogs. 1-1training sessions are more appropiate. Get in touch to find out more information on our 1-1 programmes.

Do I pay upfront or after each class?
Full payment is required to secure your booking. Head over to the bookings page to make full payment and secure your booking.
